This is highly unethical and theres no reason for profession grade software to be this shady. The average computer user would be unable to get rid of this software and I find that highly unethical. That said I was also underwhelmed with the program itself. I found it very difficult to perform even basic tasks and I had no idea it would add an overly obnoxious watermark to any file I saved until I had finished my project.
